Terms of Service
These terms cover scope of work, revisions, payment, ownership, timelines, and liability for projects undertaken through Found House Digital, an independent freelance practice.
Scope of work
Scope of work for each project is defined by the package selected (Starter, Business, or Premium) or by a custom quote agreed in writing before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope — including additional pages, features, or major direction changes — is treated as a separate request and quoted accordingly.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds during the build phase: one round for Starter, two for Business, three for Premium. A revision round means consolidated feedback delivered at one time. Requests for changes after the included rounds are complete, or after final delivery, are handled as a separate paid request or under a monthly care plan.
Payment terms
Payment terms are agreed before work begins, whether through Fiverr's payment system or a direct invoice. Work does not commence, and files are not delivered, until payment terms agreed for that stage have been met.
Third-party accounts and credentials
Where a project involves e-commerce, payment gateways, hosting, or other third-party services, the client is responsible for supplying their own merchant accounts, API credentials, and account access. Found House Digital integrates against credentials supplied by the client and does not hold, store, or process client funds.
Intellectual property
Ownership of the final delivered website — including code, design, and content created for the project — transfers to the client upon receipt of final payment. Until final payment is received, all work remains the property of Found House Digital.
Timelines
Timelines quoted (including the packages and process timelines listed on this site) are estimates dependent on the client supplying content, feedback, and approvals promptly. Delays in client responsiveness will extend the delivery timeline accordingly and are not treated as missed deadlines on the part of Found House Digital.
Limitation of liability
Found House Digital provides website design, development, and related services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of a delivered site — including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — is excluded. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the project in question.
Independent practice
Found House Digital is an independent freelance practice operated by Meher Ali, not a registered agency or corporation, unless stated otherwise in a specific written agreement.
